11月1日(日)、12時からこもれび山崎プールにて2020年度第1回泳力検定会が行われました。今年はコロナで中止が続いたのでこれが第1回です。

The first session of the Swimming Proficiency Test of fiscal 2020 was held from noon on November 1st (Sun) at "Komorebi" Yamazaki Pool. This is the first time of the session because it has not been held due to COVID-19 pandemic.

　申込者は、先着30名募集に対して

合計２８名(男子、女子各１４名)、受検件数４３件、合格件数33件

内訳を合格者数/受検者数で表すと、

１級:6/10、2級:8/11、3級:14/17、4級:2/2、5級:1/1、6級:1/1、7級:1/1

です。

Although it was announced that only first 30 applicants are accepted, total 28 applicants including 14 males and 14 females showed. The total numbers of the participants who received and passed the test were 43 and 33, respectively.

Breakdown by grade: The numbers of passed participants per tested participants are:

6/10 for the 1st grade, 8/11 for the 2nd grade, 14/17 for the 3rd grade, 2/2 for the 4th grade, 1/1 for the 5th grade, 1/1 for the 6th grade, and 1/1 for the 7th grade.

　居住地は

山梨県１、千葉県１、東京都３、横浜市８、鎌倉市１０、その他神奈川県内５

年齢区分別では

男女とも7才〜10才が多く計14名、60才台2名、70才台3名となっていました。

Breakdown by living place:

1 in Yamanashi Pref., 1 in Chiba Pref., 3 in Tokyo, 8 in Yokohama City, 10 in Kamakura City, and 5 in other places in Kanagawa Pref.

Breakdown by age: Student swimmers aged 7 to 10 made up majority and totaled 14 regardless of gender. There were 2 and 3 participants in their 60's and 70's, respectively.

　ウォームアップは一般営業の時間中に行われ、飛び込み練習は端の2コースを借りました。水深が浅いため飛び込み台を設置しないようにしました。

It was ruled that participants have to warm them up during the regular opening hours of the pool and use the two lanes near the poolside to do diving practice. No diving block was installed because of the short depth of water.

　参加者には泳ぐ時間以外は常にマスクを着用していただきました。写真は受検者の待機場所で、横に並んで待って居る風景です。受検番号を座席番号として指定して居ます。受検者は２８名でしたので、このようにプールサイドで一列に待機です。

Participants had to put face masks at any time except while they were swimming. The photo below shows the examinees waiting side by side in the waiting zone. Examinee numbers were appointed as seat numbers. The number of examinees was 28, so they waited in line on the poolside like this.

　老若男女が泳ぐために一緒に集まる光景、もうなくなりつつありますが、ここにはまだあります。次回は2021年3月21日(日)に行う予定です。

The scene that people gather to join a swimming session regardless of age and gender has been becoming uncommon, but you can still see it here. The next session of this test is going to be held on March 21st, 2021 (Sun).
