鎌倉水泳協会は、鎌倉市を拠点とする水泳愛好者の団体です。会員相互の親睦を深めるとともに、心身ともに健全で活力ある楽しい生活を目指します。また、水泳の普及と技術の向上に努め、水泳競技の発展に寄与しております。

The Kamakura Swimming Association (KSA) is a group of swimming lovers, based in the city of Kamakura. KSA aims at making member's friendship stronger and helping them live health, fresh, and fun lives. KSA also makes efforts to make swimming practice more usual and help swimmers enhance their techniques, contributing to the development of swimming competition.

活動概要 Outline of Activities

l 市民水泳教室 Swimming Course for Kamakura Citizens

　毎年７月（前期５日間）、８月（後期３日間）で鎌倉市民を対象に水泳教室を開催しています。 また、初心者を対象とした水泳教室（かなづちクラブ）を４月、７月、１０月、１月の年４回開催しています。

KSA holds a swimming course for Kamakura citizens in July (for five days, the first period) and August (for three days, the second period). KSA also holds another swimming course for beginners (Kanazuchi Club) four times a year in April, July, October, and January.

l 水泳大会 Swimming Meets

　学童水泳大会、市民スイミングフェスティバル、市民屋内水泳大会等を主催、あるいは協力という形で開催しています。併せて日本水泳連盟主催の泳力検定も実施しています。また、神奈川スポーツマスターズ水泳大会の出場選手の募集、練習会も開催しています。

KSA holds a variety of swimming meets such as Student Swimming Meet, Swimming Festival for Kamakura Citizens, and Indoor Swimming Meet for Kamakura Citizens by hosting themselves or in cooperation with other bodies. KSA also holds a session of the Swimming Proficiency Test hosted by the Japan Swimming Federation. In addition, KSA recruits the swimmers who wish to join the Kanagawa Sports Masters Swimming Meet and holds a practice session.

l 親睦行事 Social Activities

　史跡めぐり、プールめぐりなど会員による親睦行事を年数回行っています。

KSA holds social activities for members, such as historic site visiting and practice sessions at public pools, a couple of times a year.
